RETIRED CHRISTIAN FELLOWSHIP NEWS
At the recent March 14, 2024, Retired Christian Fellowship lunch and meeting attendees voted to provide items for Blessing Bags for the homeless. We decided to present the need to the entire congregation offering you the opportunity to be a part of fulfilling a pertinent need to help our homeless. Items will be collected during the month of April and our youth will assemble the bags. The Blessing Bags are intended to be directly given away to persons in need (as seen on many busy street corners in and around the metro area). A sample of the bags will be shown in the Narthex with a list of items to be donated. There will be a designated bin for items. Completed bags will be available for distribution to the congregation by May 5, 2024. Feel free to include notes of encouragement. Please take as many of the bags as you would like to lovingly give away. If you have questions, please contact Sue Blackmon.

Since we all have many demands on our time for shopping, cooking, entertainment & family gatherings in December, there will not be an RCF meeting in the month of December. Enjoy your Holiday season and we will resume our regular monthly meetings in January (the 11th). If you signed up to bring food in December, just keep that assignment for January. There will be a reminder list on the bulletin board in the narthex just to the right of the sanctuary doors. Have a wonderful, blessed Christmas and a happy New Year!

Please sign-up for children's moment! There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board in the narthex.
The 1st Sunday of the month the children will bring the RFB wagon down the aisle. Brief children's moment can follow the wagon.
Children's Church - Children's church will resume on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month beginning in October. Children will participate in a mini lesson and activity. On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month, children are encouraged to stay in worship with their families. When available, Bobby Sloan may provide an opportunity for the children to help with the blessing box or fellowship together.
If you have any questions please contact Mary Beth Roberts.
